Hello Alejandro,

Changing the VList format statement affects the default VList. However, if you want to only change the VList for Search Results you can change the SearchVlist format statement.

Please see:
http://greenstonewiki.cs.waikato.ac.nz/wiki/index.php/How_to_format_the_output_of_your_collection#Formatting_Lists

You need to alter/define more specific Vlists in order to display your data differently in different parts of your collection.

Hope this helps,

Richard.

Hello. I am trying to build a collection on Greenstone based on a CDS/ISIS database. The import, exploding and enriching went fine, but now I wanna change the format of the VList to make it look more like a bibliographic record and also remove the link, because I just want to create a catologue for the library, not a digital library. So when I changed the VList, the search results were okay, but I tried to build a Hierarchy classifier for subjects and all it showed were the characters between data, it didn't show any data or even create bookshelves. The same thing happened if I created an AZCompactList, like on the example collection. However, if I change the VList back to the default setting, the classifier works but the results don't show any relevant or identifiable information, just the file name.

Thanks, I appreciate any help you can provide.
