Hi Steve,
the _idx_ bizzo in "Search for _idx_ that contain ..."
often turns up when their is something wrong with my indexes during building: have a look at your build log to see if you can get any clues (or send it to this list).

It is often helpful have a tool that will search all files in the macro folder when doing this sort of work.
The unix command line utilities grep etc. are helpful, as is the 'Search folder' facility in Macromedia Dreamweaver. While I am an expert in neither, I have found them both useful for searching the macro folders.

Great looking collection!

I have a custom home page, which you can view at
http://isis.library.adelaide.edu.au/gsdl/cgi-bin/library
(it's a work in progress).

Using the yourhome.dm example, I have links to collections,
defined as

<a href="/gsdlmod?e=d-00000-00---off-0gsarch--00-0----0-10-0---0---0direct-10---4-----dfr--0-1l--11-en-50---20-help-Anupama+of+Greenstone+Team--00-0-1-00-0--4----0-0-11-10-0utfZz-8-00&a=p&p=about&c=theses">Theses</a>

However, when I use these links, I get an About page with a
search box at the top, which reads (in part):

"Search for _idx_ that contain ..."

I can't see how to get rid of the search box (I tried tracing
back through the macros starting from /gsdlmod?e=d-00000-00---off-0gsarch--00-0----0-10-0---0---0direct-10---4-----dfr--0-1l--11-en-50---20-help-Anupama+of+Greenstone+Team--00-0-1-00-0--4----0-0-11-10-0utfZz-8-00&a=p&p=about). I'd
prefer not to have the search box appear on that page. But if it
has to be there, how can I fix the '_idx_' which displays?

Any clues as always greatly appreciated.
Steve
