Subject [greenstone-users] PDF Plugin - Zoom / Sections / Complex
I am using Greenstone v2.60 and have complex, nohidden, zoom, and use_sections all set.

The problem is:

1) PDFs that have no embedded text are reproduced as graphics but the resolution of these graphics is very low. Setting zoom to 1 means the image is almost unreadable. Setting zoom to 2 means it is much bigger than the screen, even at 1024 pixels. Is it possible to set zoom to 1.5? Or increase the resolution of the image created by Ghostscript when using sections on PDFs?

2) Because I am using the Phind interface that links directly to the html version of the document I have put a link to the original document using the PDF icon at the top of the html version of the document above the detach/no-highlight buttons. However, I am splitting each PDF up into separate pages by setting the use_sections option. The link back to the original document only appears on the first page. How do I get it to appear with every page of the PDF document when viewing page by page?
