Subject [greenstone-users] Import of PDF documents
Hello,

I?m trying to build a digital library with greenstone (2.75). I
collected some PDF documents from my computer's file space, which I
dragged and dropped into the new collection I had created. Then I added
some metadata and built the collection.

In my navigators (Firefox and IE7), I couldn?t open my documents in
PDF-Format. I had the icons but could not find them.
I looked in the greenstone files, my documents were imported in :
C:Program FilesGreenstonecollect[Name of my collection]archives...
C:Program FilesGreenstonecollect[Name of my
collection]buildingassoc...
C:Program FilesGreenstonecollect[Name of my collection]import...
And I couldn?t find them in html in the TMP file.
But, when I built my collection, the navigators were searching the
documents in :
C:Program FilesGreenstonecollect[Name of my collection]indexassoc...

I copied the PDF-files in this file, but it?s not very practical to do
it myself. I suppose there?s an automatic function which I perhaps
deactivated.

Thank you for your help.

Regards
