it seems that you have a firewall issue. Are you running Windows?. Is the port open?.
Do you have any kind of antivirus software?. Sometimes this software has an internet port blocker or something similar...

I have installed Greenstone on a PC. The Web pages display when I refer to the PC as localhost or 127.0.0.1 in the address bar, but, if I use the PC's actual hostname or its IP address on the network, the server will not respond. I suspect this is an Apache issue. I get the same result with the JPEG images that form part of my collection and these pages are not dynamically created.
Any help would be much appreciated.
