Subject [greenstone-users] expaining plugins
Hi,

I have been asking a lot of questions of the Developers lately about plugins.

Instead of forgetting it all in the bottom of my inbox I have tried to
put some of the useful stuff into a page on the wiki for anyone who
is considering having a go at creating their own plugin.

I'd encourage anyone who either needs a plugin that doesn't exits yet,
or wants to improve on an existing plugin to 'have a go', as it's not
as hard as it seems and in any case the developers are very
supportive. (Thanks to them all)

The wiki page is at
http://greenstone.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Explaining_Plugins

It currently covers a basic description of the processes, as well as
some brief descrioptions of example plugins and key methods in the
process.

BTW - if you find any errors, or can think of a better way of
explaining something then please change the page.

Regards,

Stephen De Gabrielle

PS should I have posted this to greenstone-devel? too late now!
