Hi Sunita,

Try setting read/write access to the gsdl/tmp folder, if you haven't already.

The collector is fairly limited to what it can do, and we are no longer updating
it. We believe the way of the future for collection building with Greenstone is
the Greenstone Librarian Interface (GLI). This is a powerful and easy to use
program for gathering files, assigning metadata, and building collections. If you
have Greenstone v2.41 installed, there is a shortcut to the Librarian Interface
on the Start menu, in the Greenstone Digital Library folder.

Regards,

Michael
