Hi Paul, sorry for taking so long to reply to this mail.

In point of fact, ImagePlug does work on Windows machines. You will
need to install ImageMagick (and do an easy tweak to a filename that
someone described on the Greenstone list about a month back).

Note that I haven't tried this myself.
