Hi Stephen,

GLI uses the wget program for the Download pane, which has a huge number
of options. It looks like you need the "--follow-ftp" option on for wget
to download the documents from the FTP site. Unfortunately, the only way
to add this option at the moment is to edit the GLI code. You'll have to
edit gli/src/org/greenstone/gatherer/collection/DownloadJob.java, find
line 208, and change it from:

String command = Configuration.getWGetPath() + " -N -k -x -t 2 ";
// + " -nc -c ";

to

String command = Configuration.getWGetPath() + " -N -k -x -t 2
--follow-ftp"; // + " -nc -c ";

then recompile the GLI (makegli.sh).
