Hello All,

I have Greenstone installed on a Windows Server. Running the local interface on the server works just fine, but I run into problems when I try to use the Librarian Interface for Remote Server (Client GLI). The program opens, asks for the website address, asks for my password, but never opens the program. I am also trying to get the Client GLI to work on my computer so I don?t have to log into the server to create my library. I have installed and unzipped the file per the instructions here: http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/Remote_Greenstone, but when I click on client-gli.bat, it tells me that it can?t detect a Greenstone installation <no GSDLHOME> and that it can?t locate an appropriate version of Java. I have installed a new version of Java, but I still get the Java message and I?m not sure what to do next. I would really appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Thanks,

Heidi Pettitt
