Dear Mamoona,
What you need is the Hierarchy structure for the chapterised documents you have in Greenstone. Yo ucan achieve this in MS Word as well as HTML formats. If the original Word document□use □hierarchically structured□Word styles, these can be used to structure in the resulting HTML display. The documentation on this you can see at http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/gsdoc/tutorial/en/enhanced_word.htm And for HTML files, you will need to Section Tag each of them. See the Tagging sample□at http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/gsdoc/tutorial/en/section_tagging.htm Note that these Tags are XML ones and are case sensitive, and are to be properly nested as shown over there. You will also need to□configure the HTML Plugin and□enable the□"description_tags" in the Dsign Panel. You can bring in the Cover Image also, if the source dicument and the corresponding cover image have the same file name and by setting the Document Images to True in the Format Panel. Best wishes, Sreekumar □ : 3 > Date: Fri, 11 Jan 2008 03:06:54 -0800 > From: "Mamoona Kousar" <librarian@mail.au.edu.pk> > Subject: [greenstone-users] Help-How I can add Table of contents? > To: greenstone-users@list.scms.waikato.ac.nz > Message-ID: <WorldClient-F200801110306.AA06540300@mail.au.edu.pk> > Content-Type: text/plain > > Hi! > > I don't know how to get the table of contents which appears on the right > hand side when we open full text of any doc.
