You are now subscribed to the new greenstone list, which means you
can unsubscribe from the old list by sending email to
and in the body put "unsubscribe greenstone".
One of the nice things about this list software is that you
can be in "digest" mode, which means (I think) that you get
lots of messages lumped together into one email, I think on a daily
basis, so if there is a brief flurry of messages to the list you'll
only be bothered once. Also, you can "suspend" your subscription,
and a couple of other useful settings, from the web page
Note that your browser will probably give you a warning message
about our encryption certificate being out of date, and self-signed.
Unfortunately this is out of our control.
The server that the list is on takes a while (around 10-15 minutes)
to send mail out, so be patient - I'm not sure if this is deliberate
to cut down on bandwidth or just overworked hardware, but our
mail servers are getting an upgrade some time next week.
Finally, thanks again to the guys in Colorado Springs for setting
up and hosting the original lists.
