Hi msalahd,
usually share hosting for Greenstone is not possible, because you must re-configure
the webserver, but I hope the Virtual Private Server technology offer today
low cost "shared" hosting solution for Greenstone.

Exemple : for the Greenstone's 2.60 installation in http://www.greenstone.fr,
I use a standard
Linux distribution (Debian 3.1 Sarge) in the Virtual Server environnment (Memory
quota 128 MB without swap file, bandwith 256 Kbps, Normal CPU priority). The
only Application Software in this virtual private server are :

1- Apache webserver (with mod_perl extension)
2 - ProFTP server (for collection's transfert)
3 - Greenstone 2.60.

Regards,
Georges Braoudakis
