thank you very much for your help.
Regarding to the links, I have this information in my index/build.cfg:
If I write:
Organization: <a href='/gsdlmod?e=d-00000-00---off-0gsarch--00-0----0-10-0---0---0direct-10---4-----dfr--0-1l--11-en-50---20-help-Stephen%2eDeGabrielle%26%2364%3bnt%2egov%2eau--00-0-1-00-0--4----0-0-11-10-0utfZz-8-00&a=q&q=[cgisafe:Organization]&h=DL'>[dls.Organization]</a>
Is that all right or there is a mistake, since it shows the link but it doesn't work?
Thank you very much!!

In future please send your questions in the email rather than as an
attached document - its much harder to answer like that.
I have never tried to display the first page of a PDF. You could try
using the convert_to pagedimg_gif option for PDFPplug (you'll need
GhostScript installed), then try displaying [child(1):srcicon]. Not sure
if this will work or not.
To link e.g. an Author to a search for that Author, you need to create
an index on Author, then the format statement needs something like:
where dau is the index name for the Author index - you can find this in
For multilevel hierarchies, you can either assign hierarchical metadata
separated by | (eg Cards|Red|Spades|Ace), and then use Hierarchy
classifier, or use GenericList with multiple metadata eg, -metadata
Organisation/Author (separate levels with /)
The metadata item in the menu bar is no longer there.
what did you want to do?
If you like the formatting of a particular collection, I suggest you
look at its config file. You can always access a config file on line -
it'll usually be at server-name/gsdl/collect/coll-name/etc/collect.cfg
If you need more help, please send your questions in the email, and
clearly state what you are trying to achieve.
