Hello Oscar,

The main documentation site is at:
http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/GreenstoneWiki

The pdf manuals are at: http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/Man=
ual

The pages in Greenstone are dynamic, not static ones you can edit wit=
h
your favorite html editor or text editor. But you can change the look=
of
your pages by editing the appropriate macros in the macro files. Thes=
e
files have a .dm extension and are, for example if your greenstone is=
in
/usr/local/gsdl, in /usr/local/gsdl/macros. Some of the key ones I ha=
ve
found are style.dm, nav_css.dm, home.dm and about.dm. You can also ed=
it
the main css file: /usr/local/gsdl/images/style.css and also each
collection has it's own extra.dm file if you want to override certain
macros for a particular collection.

There's more to it than this, but hopefully I've pointed you in the
right direction.
