We recently learned of a similar case last week and have just re-written
the uninstaller to account for the situation when it is installed into
pre-existing location such as My Documents. Unfortunately this has
occured too late to help you. Windows does include a back-up/restore
facility (separate to the recycle bin) however this is not necessarily
enabled by default. Try right-clicking on your <User> or <Documents>
folder and go to properties. In later versions of Windows (7 and Vista)
there will be a "previous versions" tab that may be able to be used to
recover your files.
