You'll need to run the GLI, choose File -> Open, pick the collection you
want to build, then switch to the Create pane and hit Build Collection. Most
will take a couple of minutes to build, some will take longer.

Yes, that's right.

A good way of "getting into" Greenstone and learning what it can do is to
work through some of the workshop materials we have prepared. If you've got
time, I'd recommend you download the one-day workshop materials package and
have a look through the labs.
