|Subject||[greenstone-users] Managing large numbers of TIFF files|
For our historical photographic collection we plan to put access images (jpegs) into a Greenstone collection for public access. The TIFF files (of the same images) we want to store securely and keep as an archival collection, and they will not be available to the public except we may charge a fee for printing good copies. (We have 500GB of them so far.) Has anyone got any advice on how to manage the TIFF images - should we keep them completely separate or possibly build them into a separate private Greenstone collection, or try to link them into the main Greenstone collection?
