Hi Colin,

I think you'll need to use the internal (short) names of the metadata
elements, rather than the display (full) names, ie. "dc.Type" instead of
"dc.Resource Type".

Try:

classify GenericList -sort_leaf_nodes_using dc.Title -metadata
"dc.Type/dc.Identifier/dc.Relation/dc.Subject/dc.Title" -buttonname
"test list by date"

Regards,

Michael
