Thank you Shaoqun,

I have downloaded new NULPlug, it works and now I have the following
code on every document:

<div class="heading_image">

<img alt=""
onError="src='http://www02.unibg.it/~morin/gsdl/images/blank.gif'"
src="http://www02.unibg.it/~morin/gsdl/collect/babel3/index/assoc/HASHc39b.dir/cover.jpg">
</div>

the only problem is that I do not have cover image for every entry, and
do not want to have this extra code on every page.

Is it possible to print the code only if an image is really present?

I also tried [DocImage] to print the image url but no luck, alway empty.

My aim is to use a condition like:

{If}{[DocImage, ....

is this possible?

thank you,

Ruben
