Hi Swathi

You probably could try to use the stand-along GLI client instead of the
GLI applet to manage collections remotely. The remote GLI client package
is gli-client-2.72.zip, which can be found at
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=greenstone&filename=gli-client-2.72.zip&use_mirror=puzzle,

and the corresponding usage instruction is available at
http://greenstonewiki.cs.waikato.ac.nz/wiki/index.php/Remote_Greenstone#Client.
