Subject [greenstone-devel] Lucene Apache and Greenstoen 3.02
Dear Sir,

Sir i have a problem regarding greenstone3.02. I am
not able to search the leading wildcard. I am useing
Apache Lucene search engine for making index. Lucene
support the leading wildcar search which is quoted as
follows:

Leading wildcards (e.g. *ook) are not supported by the
QueryParser by default. As of Lucene 2.1, they can be
enabled by calling
QueryParser.setAllowLeadingWildcard( true ). Note that
this can be an expensive operation: it requires
scanning the list of tokens in the index in its
entirety to look for those that match the pattern.

I have downloaded Lucene 2.1 src files and javacc.
The all the process define in buld.txt file i have
done.

I have done in query parser directory in
queryparser.jj files. and run ant command and build
the files. but there is not any effects in
greenstone.

Please tell me how and where customize the above
command mention for greenstone.

I shall be very greatfull to this kind.

Thanking you

Yours
