that might have been the crucial point - but fortunately you gave me
the important hint ($self->{'indexing_text'}). thanks a lot!

at the moment this is not that necessary, i'm using mg and i don't
think that will change for the collection i need this filtering for.
(btw, the greenstone version is 2.60 - i'm hesitating upgrading to
2.61 because i might not have the time to cater for any changes or
instabilities *sry*)

afair this doesn't affect display of metadata, so this should work
as well.
