Hi Lian,

Hmmm... not a very helpful error message, is it!

Some things to check:

- Have a look in the other GLI window (the DOS prompt) -- are there any
errors or exceptions showing?
- Make sure that the Greenstone Local Library server program /isn't/
running when you start the GLI
- Try closing the GLI and reopening it
- Check that the "index" directory in gsdlcollect<collection-name> is
writeable -- try deleting it manually
