it would be very great if you can write some lines describing the way you do
the migration, even the little details. GS team then will add it into Wiki
and that info will be the beginning for any people that have to do the same

Hi list,
this is just a word of thanks - nothing else. Three people gave excellent
advice on upgrading from 2.73 to 2.80 on Linux, and given that there was
30Gb of materials with a range of particular configurations and that I'm a
brave-foolish but basic user without too much of the whizzbang understanding
of everything that happens, the process went without a hitch (just one minor
issue when I couldn't get into the admin page but that was because I forgot
something, but later remembered). I do think, though, that for the likes of
myself, a more detailed description for Linux users could be helpful
eventually, in some manual or other. It can be a little nerve-wracking when
so much depends on getting it right.
