| Hi,
You should not run mkcol again. You simply put the new documents
in import directory, update metadata.xml (in import directory) file
(replace the old file with the new generated file from Collection
Organizer) and any file that has change like sub.txt, org.txt,
AZList.txt (in etc directory). After that delete archives and building
directories if any and run import.pl and buildcol.bat. And you are set.
import, etc, archives, building directories are in
$GSDL_HOME/collect/<your collection name>
Best regards,
Emanuel Dejanu

Subject: [greenstone-devel] Adding New Collections
Hi All,
I have uploaded some 30 PDF files and made a collection, used
organizer also..If I have to add some 10 files every month to this
collection shud I do the same procedure : organizer to add subjects,
then run mkcol and import commands. Are there any other ways by which I
can add the files just by changing metadata.xml and other *.txt files...
Thanks,
Arun
