Dear Satish Phadhe

Lucene Indexer has the option to sort search results by choosing a criteria
in a list box. Change your indexer to Lucene in Search Indexes, add dc.Date
as new indexer and rebuild your collection. When you build your collection
with lucene indexer you will get a sorting option also with the search
box. Select "dates" from the pull down list and perform a search and see the
whether the result is sorted on dc.Date Metadata or not.
