| To Greenstone Support,
I work with a Bibliography and uses BiBTex-plugin for import.
I am a little bewildered by the way the BibTex plugin has been formattet.
Most fields are labeled alright but these are odd:
1.st example:
@book{paii-smith-43-Coon,
author = {Coon, C. S.},
title = {Cave Explorations in Iran 1949},
publisher = {The University Museum. Philadelphia},
year = {1951},
address = {University of Pennsylvania},
series = {Museum Monographs}
}
.....Get to Look like this:
Authored By: C. S. Coon
Paper Title: Cave Explorations in Iran 1949
Publisher: The University Museum. Philadelphia
Publication Date: 1951
Why not call it 'Book Titel' instead of 'Paper Title' ???
2.nd example:
All tabulation alignments seems to be fine and nicely on line except for the
field denoted: 'Volume' when it is in a reference - the data is not in line with the rest of the datafields !!
Can something be done about that ???
Can I change something myself in a formatting file somewhere ??
3.rd example:
@inbook{paii-smith-43-Braidwood-Howe,
author = {Braidwood, R. J. and B. Howe},
title = {Studies in Ancient Oriental Civilization},
chapter = {Prehistoric Investigations in Iraqi Kurdistan},
year = {1960},
publisher = {University of Chicago Press},
address = {Chicago}
}
......get to look like this:
Authored By: R. J. Braidwood and B. Howe
Paper Title: Studies in Ancient Oriental Civilization
Publisher: University of Chicago Press
Publication Date: 1960
'Paper Title' should have been 'Book title' instead, and the most important field: 'Chapter'
is not shown at all and thus the most important data in the reference is not there !!!
Ofcause the head-title <h1></h1> above the reference should get its data from 'Chapter' also, or a combination !!
Can something be done about that ???
Can I change something myself in a formatting file somewhere ??
hope you can help me here
