My bet is that most of us rebuild. Create a new collection, with the
documents you need. Then, when that looks good, move it to the proper
location.

They are working on a more flexible indexer, but my interpretation is that
Greenstone was originally designed with more stable collections in mind.
But in reality, they are not stable.

Rebuilding for my stuff is very easy. But it may not be for someone
else's situation.

There are many other benefits to Greenstone that this small inconvenience
is not a problem for my stuff.
