1. You can enter hierarchical metadata directly in the librarian
interface, and then you don't need an hfile.
Enter metadata with | separating the levels, like:
Volume 25|Issue 5|Article 3
Then you can use Hierarchy classifier without an hfile option, and it
will split the metadata on the |.
2. Try switching to expert mode - can you see why these files are not
included? Perhaps they have no extractable text.
If you want them to be included, you can try using PDFplug with
different options - see tutorial
or you can use unknownplug, - add it after PDFPlug, with process_exp .pdf
3. You can't do this in the librarian interface. Close the collection in
GLI, then edit the metadata.xml files by hand in the import directory of
