We are pleased to announce that the first Release Candidate binaries of
Greenstone v2.84 for Windows and GNU/Linux are now available for
download from our snapshots page:
http://www.greenstone.org/snapshots

Please bear in mind that this is a preliminary release of Greenstone
2.84 that is for testing purposes, and not meant as a replacement of
your existing Greenstone installation.

If you are interested in testing this out, please report any problems or
bugs encountered to the mailing list.

The University of Waikato is closed from the 18th of December until the
5th of January, so the Greenstone Team might not be monitoring the lists
