Subject digital collections: How do you do it and why greenstone
Hi All,

I am embarking on a digitization project of East Timorese documents form
early this century;

I am looking at Greenstone as a possible option; If you have the time,
please answer the following questions.

1. What size is your collection?
Number of documents:
Pages (total):
Mb (total):

2. Describe a typical document: Book, peridocal, paper, combination etc?

3. Document encoding: What format were your documents in before you put
them into Greenstone?

4. What metadata do use? Type? fields?

5. What made you choose this software?

Please email me at stephen.degabrielle@ntu.edu.au
Answers will kept in confidence.

Your assistance is appreciated,

Stephen De Gabrielle
