modelcol is an empty "shell" collection which is copied when creating
a new collection using mkcol.pl or The Collector front-end - it won't
be using much space.

I'm not sure why there's an index directory in collect/ - either
you've created a collection called index, or something has gone
wrong and it should be inside another collection subdirectory.
