Subject [greenstone-users] Metadata with diacritics fails to import with GS 2.50
GS 2.50 seems to have a problem importing metadata files that contain
diacritics.

The relevant metadata files sometimes include letters with diacritics
(e.g. diaeresis, acutes, circumflexes). The files validate OK but the
corresponding HTML pages fail to display.

Everything works fine in GS 2.39 using the same metadata and HTML files.

The system on which GS 2.50 is installed is Fedora. The one with GS 2.30
is RedHat 7.3 (or 7.2--can't remember which).

Example files are attached.
