hi dave

to do this requires changing the c++ code - I have modified the code to allow
this if the arg xx is set to 1.
This can be done in the main.cfg file
cgiarg shortname=xx argdefault=1

this will affect all collections.
or it can be done on a per collection basis using the collect.cfg file
I dont think there is an equivalent to the cgiarg line in the main.cfg file,
but you can achieve the same thing by adding a receptionist line

eg
receptionist "/gsdlmod?c=mgppdemo&ct=1&a=p&p=about&qt=1&xx=1"

the value should start with /gsdlmod?, and the arguments should be what you
get by clicking on the collection icon in the home page. then you can add any
others or change the ones there to achieve the affect you want.

I'll send you the modified c++ files in a separate email. You will need to
copy them into the appropriate directory and recompile the library code. this
assumes that you have the source code. if not, you will need to download the
release containing the source code.

Note to the list: the modifications will be part of the next release, but if
anyone else wants them sooner, please email me and I'll send them to you.

Katherine Don
