Please check you have followed all the instructions at
http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/remote-greenstone.html,
particularly the Troubleshooting section.

If you haven't got the GLI server URL correct then you should get errors
long before you are able to create a new collection.
