| Subject | [greenstone-users] multi-lingual pages |
| Hi there,
Very proud of meself at the moment! Have managed to work out how to adjust the basic look of the Greenstone page, so means I'm getting a handle on some of these macros, css etc. Question: I wish to give people (mine is a very multicultural readership) the option of reading 'about' the collections, which themselves will contain material in several languages, in four languages other than English - Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese. What's best here? Give them an immediate link on the home page to a homepage in their own language? and will that be relatively simple to arrange? Or just explain everything - very briefly! - on the existing home page in five languages, and ditto for the 'about' pages. I guess that's the easiest but it sure will keep me brief! Julian | |
