Hi Kiem,

The search form has options (Check box):  (Fold, Stem). Look in the Help and could not find explanation on Fold and Stm mode.

Could you give me some clue: What are Fold and Stem options used for? Or what is their role in formulation of search query?

Case folding is the conversion of all uppercase letters to their lowercase equivalents (or vice versa). For example, if case folding is on, the words Case, case, and CASE will all be indexed as case and regarded as equivalent at query time, irrespective of which original version appeared in the source document.

Stemming is carried out so that queries retrieve relevent documents even if the exact form of the word is different. For example, if the representative terms are created using stemming, and all query terms are also stemmed, searching the word compute would retrieve documents containing phrases such as computing or computed, etc.
