I was have the same problem. When I was trying to install GS after
it started to verify the JVM (Verifying JVM) than start to search JVM.
at last it said that Java Rut Time environment is required.
But I have all java application (JRE, SDK, JDK etc.) in my machine I've
tried different methods to show it where is java:
./setupLinux.bin -is:javahome /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java
./setupLinux.bin -is:javahome /usr/lib/j2se/1.4/bin/java
non of them work. At last I've tried to install from Unix directory with
the following way:
now it is working. But don't forget to add required apache alias
informations to apache configuration.
