Hi, could you please tell us which operating system/distribution you're using, and whether you are using the precompiled binaries or compiled from source? If wvWare is hanging, then it is a bug with wvWare and it got confused by one of the word documents. I didn't think it could process some office xp documents, but I'm unsure since it seems to work on some files and not others. You could try downloading a newer version of wvWare and replacing or removing the version that comes with greenstone (in $GSDLHOME/bin/linux). John McPherson
