These strings (and all other strings for the Greenstone interface) come
from the Greenstone macrofiles, in the Greenstone "macros" directory.
You can edit the english.dm file and search for "case" or "stem" to find
the macros to change.

By looking at the HTML source of the advanced search page you can see
these checkboxes are controlled by the "fqk" and "fqs" variables. You
can tick these on by default by adding

cgiarg shortname=fqk argdefault=1,1,1,1
cgiarg shortname=fqs argdefault=1,1,1,1

in the Greenstone "etc/main.cfg" file.
