Hi Irenengan,

Your screenshot shows the Greenstone Librarian Interface (GLI)
application. If you could run it again and try the following:

1. Go to File > Preferences > General tab.
2. In the Font box, type:
Arial Unicode MS, BOLD, 12
3. Click (Apply and) OK. A restart may be required.

If you can't read the text to discover what is File, Preferences, etc.,
because everything is in squares, then:
1. Click on the First menu item on the top left. This is the File menu
2. Choose not the last but the second-to-last item in the expanded menu.
This is the Preferences menu.
3. In the dialog that displays, click on the first tab. This is the
General tab.
4. In the tab, the third field is the Font field.
5. Paste the following in there:
Arial Unicode MS, BOLD, 12
6. Click the button on the bottom left (the OK button). Or,
alternatively, press the middle button (Apply) and then the leftmost
button (OK). GLI may need to be restarted before the changes take effect.

Once it has restarted, see if the text is legible now.
Best of luck,
Anupama
