Hello Eduardo,

I think the first problem you've encountered was solved shortly after
the 2.82rc was uploaded by Dr Bainbridge. More recently, the second
seems to have been solved (more or less) after Renate from the mailing
list came across bug.

1. For the first bug, you need to download the following two files:

- Download the file
http://trac.greenstone.org/browser/gsdl/trunk/perllib/plugouts/BasePlugout.pm?format=raw
into your Greenstone2's perllib/plugouts folder, replacing the existing
BasePlugout.pm file.

- Download the file
http://trac.greenstone.org/browser/gsdl/trunk/perllib/plugins/DirectoryPlugin.pm?format=raw
into your Greenstone2's perllib/plugins folder, replacing the existing
DirectoryPlugin.pm

(Would you also get the following file, since thanks to Katherine it
fixes a separate bug, although it's one not yet encountered by you:
http://trac.greenstone.org/browser/gsdl/trunk/perllib/plugins/OAIPlugin.pm?format=raw
And then put this into your Greenstone2's perllib/plugins folder again.)

2. To fix the second issue, will you download the zip file at
http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~ak19/gs282_UpdatedPerlBuildScripts.zip

Then unzip this and move the contents into your Greenstone 2
installation's bin/script folder, replacing the existing files.

Try it out now. Do things work better?

Regards,
Anupama
