According to Greenstone document "Actions and Arguments" at http://wiki.greenstone.org/index.php/Actions_and_Arguments

m is "max number of documents to return in search results"
o is "how many documents to display per page of search results"

So, if you want to return 250 documents in your Search Results, (I think default is 50)

cgiarg shortname=m argdefault=250

If you want to display 50 search results Per Page, (I think default is 20)

cgiarg shortname=o argdefault=50

Gail, you can edit your main.cfg file and add cgi argument like this:

# of documents to search (250 inthe example. You can put -1 to retrieve alldocuments)
cgiarg shortname=m argdefault=250
# of documents to show in result list (just to create groups of this amount)
cgiarg shortname=o argdefault=50

Hope this helps-

We seem to only be able to display 50 records, even when our search of a collection retrieves 120 hits. I am assuming there is a setting that we can change to allow more records to display. The system displays: "More than 50 documents matched the query" , and allows for navigation from 1-20, 21-40, 41-50, but won't display more. Could someone volunteer where the file that controls the limit is located?
Thank you in advance.
