Hi,

Do I understand correctly when the search page presents two indexes on
keywords and you want to remove one of them?

If so, then
1. Run the GLI application included with Greenstone.
2. Open your collection in it.
3. Click the tab marked "Design".
4. To the left, click on "Search Indexes".
5. Now, to the right, it will list the what fields the collection's
contents will be indexed by.
6. Here, click on any (duplicate) index fields you want removed. Then
press the "Remove Index" button.
7. Rebuild the collection by clicking on the GLI tab marked "Create" and
pressing "Build collection".
8. Once the collection's finished rebuiling, press the "Preview
Collection" button. This will launch a browser displaying the main page
of your collection. Check that things now behave as expected.

If however you mean you have assigned an additional superfluous piece of
keyword metadata for reach document in your collection, then:
1. Run the GLI application included with Greenstone.
2. Open your collection in it.
3. Click the tab marked "Enrich".
4. Click on a document, and remove its duplicated metadata value
("keyword") by selecting the contents of the editable duplicated entry
field. Then remove the entry as you would remove words in a normal text
editor.
5. Repeat step 4 for each document in your collection.
6. Rebuild the collection by clicking on the GLI tab marked "Create" and
pressing "Build collection".
7. Once the collection's finished rebuiling, press the "Preview
Collection" button. This will launch a browser displaying the main page
of your collection. Check that things now behave as expected.

Regards,
Anupama
