|Dear Ashraff (copy sent only to the list as original sent earlier),
Regarding your attached message [This time I am not attaching but rather
annexing since maybe that was the problem], the Koha-Greenstone pilot
integration application developed for the 2009 Bangalore workshop was a
good start, but does not function properly if there more than one record
with the same author or same title. A new application has been developed
by HealthNet Nepal and DLConsulting. This application uses OAI in Koha
to enable Greenstone to identify the document concerned by the library
record. It is operational in Nepal and training documentation was
prepared for a workshop held in Kathmandu last week. We will be
preparing more detailed documentation and a LiveCD for Ubuntu is also
almost ready. The contact for further information is Dr. Mohan Raj
Pradhan, Member Secretary of HealthNet Nepal who is copied here.
Best regards, John Rose of Greenstone Team
P.S. A regional digital library network of South Asia, emphasizing
Greenstone and Koha, was formally established during a meeting of
leaders of national nodes of 7 countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,
Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) held in Kathmandu on 23-25 July.
The General Secretary of the network is Dr. Pradhan. A report of the
meeting will be made available soon on the network website

Subject: [greenstone-users] Greenstone integartion with Koha
I would like to integrate Greenstone 2.83 with Koha 3.0.6.
Have both installed on Ubuntu 10.04.
Is there anyone who has been able to do this or attended the workshop -

There are files mentioned in the workshop presentation (3.4 Greenstone
