Subject Integrating collections to server
Hi everyone,

I have a question about hosting multiple collections. I maintain a web site
( which hosts the Humanity Development Library,
the Food and Nutrition Library, and a few other libraries as well. We're
using a Windows server, and up until now we've been using the CD-ROM based
server application to serve the web site. (In short, we copy the entire CD
to the hard drive and start the "server.exe" file to host the library.)

What I'd like to do is get a standard Greenstone distribution running on the
Windows server (already done), and host all the libraries as collections of
that, similar to However, each one of these libraries has
customized macro files. Is there an easy way to get all of these macros to
"co-exist" on the same Greenstone installation? I know about the
[c=collectionname]{collection macro here} method for adding collection
specific sections to a macro, but since each of these libraries has many
customized macros, integrating them all this way looks to be quite a task.
How did you guys do it on =)

Thanks in advance for your help!
