4.8 Human health

Throughout the project's existence PAs asked for assistance in order to improve their own health. The project team was reluctant to start a whole new discipline for which, again, they did not have the expertise. An external consultant was asked to analyse the possibilities for adding a human health aspect to the project. The result of the study was positive and a pilot scheme should start in 1992 under the responsibility of the SECADEV health unit. Again there will be close collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
