| QAI - 4/87 Small-scale projects |
|
This time, our authors are not as usual- mainly from the Federal Republic of Germany, but from the developing countries themselves.
Naturally, even we were amazed by the response when we requested GATE partner organizations to send us one or several articles describing small-scale projects which they are implementing or have implemented, with or without financial assistance from GATE.
Because the time we allowed our partners for writing articles was relatively short, we were a little doubtful whether the plan would succeed. And so for this very reason we were all the more surprised when me contributions started to arrive, each covering a different topic, even though nothing to this effect had been stipulated by the editorial office. This can be taken as proof that small-scale measures cover an extraordinarily wide range of activities.
Looking ahead to future issues, we on the editorial committee hope that this number may encourage one or the other of our readers to summarize their experience for us in a similar article some time.
