| CERES No. 55 (Vol. 10 No.1) Jan.-Feb. 1977 |
This issue of ceres marks one more step in the development of the review, with the introduction of the last of the changes recently decided upon: the elimination of all commercial advertising' involving a drop in the total number of pages although not in the number of editorial pages, which remains unchanged if not slightly higher than in the past. The reduction in the total number of pages has in turn led to a new presentation of ceres, which will in future be saddles/itched, with two metal clips. The other changes have been introduced in the last few numbers. The most important of them are: the new subtitle, which is now " FAO Review on Agriculture and Development"; greater attention to agricultural problems in general and in particular those linked to development; the unification of all the informative sections under the one heading " World Report," and more information on FAO activities. It is sincerely hoped by all those who are in one way or another concerned with the review that these changes will increase the character, interest and utility of ceres.
